Hi, I'm Andrea!
Like a lot of us, I found myself having a little more time on my hands with the onset of the 2020 pandemic. With free time, I usually find myself in the kitchen. For no particular reason, I decided to attempt a blueberry Tart from scratch--and it was as scrumptious as I imagined. That Saturday night in April, after my husband shared a photo of my finished frosted tarts with some friends, we packed up the remaining tarts, got in the car and delivered them to the doorsteps of their homes. Their response was appreciative, to say the least.
With the uncertainty surrounding the implementation of the ‘stay-at-home’ order in Colorado, I soon realized that this was going to be my way of brightening people’s day. Doorstep Tarts, if you will. What followed was a whirlwind of ideas for new Tart flavors, different crusts, and unique flavor combinations. Over the next few months, I put these ideas to the test by baking various batches of Tarts and then delivering them to my friends and family. People soon began to not only thank me for the Tarts but followed up with “how can I buy these?” – and thus, Tart and Soul Bakery was born.
With dozens of different flavors, we continue to grow and are looking to expand throughout the state of Colorado and possibly beyond. To this day, our goal remains the same:
To bring people a bit of happiness...with a Tart on their doorstep. Enjoy!
